Portland Mercantile Company guarantees your satisfaction with any merchandise order. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the item in its original condition and packaging, at your expense, for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Please note that shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

How to Buy

We accept most major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We also accept and prefer PayPal which includes eCheck.  If you wish to pay by money order or personal check, please email us at customerservice@portlandmercantile.com.  We will make every attempt to accommodate your request.  Personal checks are accepted at our discretion and no merchandise will be shipped until the check clears our bank.

Shipping

We ship all of our items via the United States Postal Service. We offer three levels of shipping or mail services: Standard, Priority, and Express.

Standard shipping service is USPS First-Class Mail or First-Class Mail International for non-U.S. shipments.
Priority shipping service is USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail International for non-U.S. shipments.
Express shipping service is USPS Express Mail or USPS Express Mail International for non-U.S. shipments.

Shipping and Handling Rates are based on your total merchandise order amount according to the following table and are nonrefundable.

These charges are disclosed and reflected in your shipping cost and total order cost upon checkout. Items are packaged and mailed within two business days of receiving your order and payment. Estimated shipping times (calculated from when we receive your order and allowing for handling time) are also disclosed on the checkout page and are listed in the chart above under each delivery service.

The estimated delivery times for these services can be found at www.usps.com.  In some cases, Standard shipping is upgraded to Priority shipping automatically due to the total weight of your package and USPS weight limitations on First Class Mail.

Holiday Shipping
During the holidays, especially the Christmas holiday season, this time period may extend to three (3) business days depending on the volume of our orders.  All orders are prepared and shipped on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis.

Please be sure to include your name and address so we can credit your account upon receipt of the returned item.  Also, please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange.  In the event a refund is made after 60 days from purchase, the refund will be made by check and processed and mailed within 5 business days of receipt of the returned item. Exchanges can be made for any store item(s) of equal or lesser value.
